Just 24 hours after the Melbourne launch, we gathered again to meet our stakeholders and supporters at Citigate Central Hotel for our Sydney launch of the new brand ButtFREE Australia and new website www.buttfree.org.au.
Sydney had turned on some warm weather and it was a welcome relief for many to have a cold drink and meet up with long established contacts and new partners alike.
Once again, there was keen interest amongst our supporters for the findings of the ‘Understanding attitudes & behaviour behind cigarette butt littering’ research, with some incisive questions asked and ideas discussed at the end of the presentation.
What was really obvious was the fact that everyone present was keen to work together to achieve our common goal of reducing butt littering in Australia. It is very satisfying that we can all share our knowledge and experience, and also most rewarding to know that we have so many committed and passionate organisations and businesses working with us in partnership, to achieve this goal.
